Benji is house-broken and leash-trained and very easy to walk.
Pets With Perks are pets specially sponsored by Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter volunteers. If you adopt a Pet With Perks, you go home with a goodie bag full of pet supplies and a certificate for free microchipping. All Pets With Perks have posters on their kennels to let people know they’re special.
Anyone can sponsor a shelter pet and help him or her get adopted.
Pets with Perks
Chloe is house trained, leash trained and active. She loves the attention of people -- adults and children older than 15 years, but is not recommended for anyone with younger children.
Ellie was surrendered to the shelter and her former owners tell us she is housebroken, crate trained and leash trained.
Atlas is a friendly guy, but is not fond of cats and can't go to a home that has them.
Diamond is friendly, but very strong, so only families with older children will be considered. Diamond loves to run and play and needs lots of daily exercise.
Tiny is shy at first, but warms up quickly, He is leash trained, although strong and may pull some.
Stella is 3 years old, weighs 77 pounds and has a sweet, affectionate, easy-going personality.
Darla is friendly, outgoing, active and strong. She tends to pull on the leash, but is easily corrected and would benefit from some structure with an experienced dog owner.
Emily is a real sweetheart -- super friendly and loving and enjoys cuddling, laps and attention.
Sequoia is a friendly, calm, sweet, and a little bit shy. He also likes to be petted.
Cheesecake is leashtrained and loves going for walks. He also enjoys attention, petting, treats and toys.
Our Barry White may not be a famous singer, but he is one heck of a nice cat. Barry is a handsome 3- to 5-year-old who came to us as a stray from Pemberton Township. He is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves to sit on your lap and snuggle. Barry is housetrained, neutered and ready to steal your heart, so why not stop by the shelter and pay him a visit.
Oreo is a beautiful senior kitty who was sadly surrendered to the shelter through no fault of her own. She is 13 years old, housetrained and spayed.
Candy gets along well with other cats so would do well as a second or third cat. She is a bit shy at first but quickly warms up and likes to be petted.
Maximus is a very friendly dog around people, but is also strong, so older children would be the best fit for him.
Bryson is quite the gentleman, heeling calmly, sitting on command, and taking treats with a soft, gentle mouth
Caine is a bundle of awesomeness. This guy loves to run and play, and he will fetch, sit and give up the toy.
