The Burlington County Animal Shelter is an open-admission county operated shelter. BCAS is the only shelter in Burlington County, and is responsible for all of the county’s strays and unwanted pets.
Shelter Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday – 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM
- Wednesday – CLOSED for public walk throughs; appointments only
- Thursday – 12:00 PM – 6:30 PM
- Holidays: closed
Volunteer Hours: Volunteers may visit the shelter when it’s open to the public, as well as some time before and after public hours. Refer to the Volunteer Handbook for current times volunteers may be at the shelter.
