Give the Gift of a Healthier Future

Homeless cats and dogs, especially those with serious illnesses and injuries, typically suffer in silence. With donations from compassionate people like you, the Friends of the Burlington County Animal Shelter make sure they have a voice.

Together, our efforts have proven to be good medicine for these animals. Next year, we hope to save more lives. With your year-end gift, we can succeed!

  • One recipient of your generosity, Arnold is very thankful for Friends and you. The tab for his treatment of a prolapsed rectum: $5,000-$7,000
  • For kitten Boo, it has cost more than $5,000 to make her a healthier, happier girl. She underwent surgery for an ear polyp that caused chronic infections, head tilt, eye squint and Vestibular Syndrome.

Dogs and cats with major medical issues, often requiring extensive surgery and advanced veterinary care, continue coming into the county shelter. Friends covers the costs of restoring their health and gets them ready for adoption.

This year, Friends spent $80,625.00 on medical expenses for shelter cats and dogs and $39,143.00 for community cats.

Your support has enabled Friends, along with shelter workers and dedicated foster parents, to offer these animals a chance for finding love, kindness and forever homes. Thanks to two charitable Friends followers and animal lovers, all donations made will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000.

During this holiday season, please open your hearts and wallets. Your year-end donations will give other Burlington County dogs and cats the gift of a healthy tomorrow.

You can double your impact.
