Cat Cuddling & More

We always need more people who want to cuddle cats. The shelter can accommodate so many animals that the staff members just don’t have enough time to make sure that every animal gets attention every day. Human interaction helps the animals release pent up energy and reduces stress, making them happier and more adoptable. Playing with the cats really does help them get adopted!

  2. Cat Volunteer Adoption Assistant (VAA) Session: Would you like to show cats to potential adopters at the shelter? This class is only available after you have been an active cat handler for at least three months and have 30 hours of experience socializing cats at the Burlington County Animal Shelter. Contact volunteer Katrina K. if you’re interested in becoming a cat VAA.
