Join us on Oct. 9 to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Friends of BCAS with the 2022 Paw Prints Pet Fest & 5K at beautiful Smithville Park in Eastampton.

Festivities will feature family-friendly activities, including a 5K run/walk (registration required), pet friendly activities, pet costume contest, agility course, 40-plus vendors, raffle basket tent, food trucks, beer garden, games, prizes, and, of course, the Burlington County Animal Shelter Adoption Zone. The event concludes with the Big Dog 50/50 drawing. Last year’s winner took home $64,000!

The timed off road 5K course winds through a wooded trail and registrants have the option of either running or walking the distance. For those who prefer a shorter route, we have a fun trail one-mile option. At the starting line, 5K runners without dogs will line up first, followed by runners with dogs. People walking the 5K, with or without dogs or cats in strollers, will follow the runners.

Register or learn more about the 5K.

Proceeds will help fund advanced medical care, spay and neuter assistance, our TNR program, and animal foster care. In 2021, our group spent more than $120,000 on medical care and spay and neuter financial assistance for more than 1,300 animals. This year will be even more challenging as the shelter returns to pre-pandemic levels. With your help and our commitment, Burlington County will become a no-kill community for companion animals by 2025.
